The Pilot Newspaper was given a new lease on life when the old building was renovated and expanded into an adjacent property.

The most dramatic changes are noticed on the inside. The original printing press area became an open news reporters’ pen. Other departments and their locations were completely revamped.

The printing production room, previously a hardware store, was meticulously detailed to receive the new large press. This area is separated by sound and fire partitions yet interior windows allow visibility from the sidewalk through the circulation department. This remains a popular feature for visitors of all ages.
