View of two wings of stalls
This six-stall barn with living quarters was designed to accommodate the clients and their horses during the spring season in Southern Pines. The mild weather made it possible to build open box stalls encircling a grassy center court. The upscale apartment on the 2nd floor has a view into the courtyard through 3 pairs of French doors. The “Juliet balcony” metal railing was custom designed with a leaf motif. The fireplace has a copper shroud and Texas limestone surround. The standing-seam metal roof changes from green to bronze with the shifting sun. |
